PRE-PURCHASE/CONDITIONAL SURVEY

 

Hull & Deck Structure

 

  • Examination of internal & external structure
  • Osmosis inspection & moisture meter readings

Rig

 

All inspections will be based on an assessment from deck level

External inspection of installation including bearers, hoses, fuel system, and stern gear.

 

Oil samples can be taken for analysis if requested.

 

Electrical

 

General inspection of electrical installation; the system will be operated but not tested.

INSURANCE CONDITION YACHT SURVEY

 

Insurance companies will require a survey report to be submitted to ascertain the condition of the vessel and allow them to assess the risk of offering insurance cover.

 

An insurance survey will involve inspection of the structural integrity and assess the general safety of the vessel.

 

It is advised that you contact your insurance broker to check the scope of the survey required.
